Hello my name is Ray Elks and I am the current owner of Elks Electric. I took over the family business in 2020 after my father's passing. He began this business in 1998 and worked extremely hard in building the current customer base. He taught me how to be fair and honest with customers while catering to their electrical needs. Through many hours of hard work and dedication the business grew to be successful. I am fortunate in being able to take over the family business and continue to serve current and new customers. 

 

I have had my journeyman license since 2003 and earned my contractors license in 2019.  I was also a firefighter for 25 years and retired in July of 2023.  I will continue to serve Albuquerque and surrounding areas with the same dedication my father had. I specialize in residential rework and troubleshooting. I take on the occasional small commercial project. I will continue to work hard and provide a high level of service with top notch professionalism.  You can count on me to show up, be prompt and courteous while working in your home.
